In early 2019, I visited the Elephant Nature Park in Chang Mai, Thailand. The nature park is an elephant rescue and rehabilitation centre in Northern Thailand where you can volunteer and visit to help. Many of the animals were rescued from unregulated camps which allowed for the riding of elephants. This park provided a natural environment for elephants to roam and live, away from unethical elephant tourism.
